Hello, I’m Ash
I turned to yoga (from secondary school teaching) as a full time path more than ten years ago, travelling to teach in Malaysia, China and Thailand and on the Freedom through Movement project in Palestine. I trained to teach many different styles.
I embrace influences from other activity’s movement patterns: rock climbing,
running and free-diving are woven into integrated postures and peaceful breath-centric restorative practices. My classes are rooted in an understanding of anatomy and are inspired by the bodies and stories of the students. Yoga for me is a chance to remember what I have forgotten, to allow myself to feel – a means to heal.
