How to Find Us
Where are we? The ground floor of the old Brewhouse, opposite Castle Park. Look across the water from the Park to where the S-shaped Castle Footbridge lands in Finzels Reach. To the right, you will see a cream building fronted by an old grey stone wall with six arched windows. We are behind that old stone wall.
How do you get there?
1) At any time – find the Bella Vista restaurant on the south-eastern corner of Bristol Bridge and follow the walkway along the waterside. You can’t miss us. Our front door is 50 metres along.
2) During Cafe opening hours – (The waterside walkway past our frontage is currently closed outside our cafe hours but watch this space). Cross over the Castle Footbridge from Castle Park into Finzels Reach, follow the path around to the right and you will see our our cafe entrance ahead of you (10 metres from the bridge).
If you get to the cafe entrance and the gates are locked because of the opening hours – don’t panic. Go on southwards down the side of our building on Grimes Lane. Turn right on Bath Street, then right again and look for the wide covered passageway with our signage between Clarke Willmott and the Brewhouse. Go through it to the water and our door is on the right.
3) From Victoria Street – go into Bath Street (BS1) towards the Finzels Reach development. Go past the Clarke Willmott offices on your left, turn into the small area known as Georges Square just after the offices. You will see the two old residential buildings known as the Brewhouse & Tower between you and the Floating Harbour. Look for the wide covered passageway with our signage between Clarke Willmott and the Brewhouse. Go through it to the water and our door is on the right.
If lost, call us on 0117 321 5445.

Best disabled access? Number 3 above – the Bath Street route. Call us if you would like assistance.
Cycling. There are cycle racks on the Finzels Reach side. There are railings on the Bristol Bridge side which provide secure locking places.
Buses. A larger number of bus routes stop at the corner of Victoria Street and Bath Street. Many more stop in the centre which is only a few minutes walk.
Trains. Bristol Temple Meads is an 8 minute walk away up Victoria Street or a 5 minute bus ride.
Car parking. 2 hour street parking in some places around Victoria Street (consult signs and ticket machines). The easiest (and usually best-priced) car park is the Galleries – which is a 5 minute walk away across Castle Park and the Castle Footbridge.
BEWARE – if you are using Apple Maps or some other obscure map services, don’t believe them if they say we are on Welsh Back. We are not and never have been.
